Quiet, quaint and quality. Generous portions which match the relatively steep prices. But, the service was fantastic and the food was lovely! Cant fault the experience we had. Would recommend to anyone and those whove done a 6th Gear track day!!

Lovely restaurant. Delicious (and reasonably priced) food, friendly staff and a beautiful setting. Cannot recommend Alfold Barn highly enough. My absolute favorite place to eat out.
After reading the reviews we immediately decided to break our rule of no roast dinners at pubs. We we're fed up with being over charged and left disappointed in the past so stuck with Toby carvery for our Sunday lunches.The place is fantastic and the staff are lovely. The service was great as well. I wanted to fall in love with this place as it just felt right. And they have good ale.But unfortunately like so many other places they didn't deliver a crispy roast potatoe or Yorkshire pudding. The gravy was already poured all over the dinner and not served separately. If Toby carvery can do it why can't decent pubs ?????????If they sorted these little details out this pub would be great for Sunday lunch like so many others could be.Also the price was very reasonable here.
