Great place to find cards of all sorts. including packs of small note cards, which seem to be hard to find elsewhere.Good stock and I believe, value for money on the high street

This post office is fine; the staff have always been polite and helpful to me and the very negative reviews seem unfair. Of course it is largely a gift shop, it is the only way to survive and, Aimee, it is not their fault if the postman doesnt ring twice. The collections office is fantastic, open at 6.30am at the weekend and I am sure they had a reason for not letting Aimee collect her parcel; they wont have refused for no reason. Anyway, thought Id offer a little balance.

Long confusing queue system

I went in there and even though there was a queue they were very quick to deal with the customers. I found the lady that served me was very polite she was very patient with me and very informative and went through all my options clear and I was very impressed with the politeness and incredible customer service , they do an extremely hard job and they should be given more credit.

Terrible service and rude staff. On my first visit I was made to wait even though I was the only customer there. When he finally got round to serving me, the man was rude, surly and incredibly slow. The only way he could have been slower would have been if he'd hand-delivered the letters himself. On the second visit, the queue was out of the door and one of the three staff members was on her mobile and not dealing with any customers. The female member of staff who eventually served me was quite unpleasant. On the third visit I had a number of parcels to send for which I'd pre-paid online. The female member of staff was again quite rude and seemed very confused by the pre-paid labels. When I later took another parcel to the Shamley Green Post Office which was larger and heavier than many I'd sent at Cranleigh, I was told that I'd paid too much for postage and the woman helpfully told me how to claim a refund online and sent it with the correct (much cheaper) postage. That kind of service is clearly too much to expect from Cranleigh Post Office now.
