Called in for Sunday lunch. Our party of six all ordered one or other of the excellent selection of roast dinners everyone declared theirs to be first class. Portions were generous and the various meats cooked to perfection - although I'd advise caution with the beef if you don't like your beef pink. No-one in our party ordered vegetarian, but my daughter was tempted as the menu did include a couple of appetising and original vegetarian options.
A few months ago this a lovely place for food but has gone down hill fast. The food very poor and not much choice

Confirmed pub restaurant with good choice of food and a good value menu. Great sticky toffee pudding!
Nice pub. Excellent real ale (Firebird), nice to see a pub where groups of ladies go, not just men guzzling beer (like me). Definitely recommended.
